Have you

Found your purpose?

At age 25, in year 2015, I wrote a letter to my father. I wrote step by step plan of my life. What I wanted to become and what all I wanted to accomplish in this life. I was in love with adventures. I used to switch off my phone during weekends and went for trekking in arms of Mother Nature. I was having time of my life. I achieved financial independence. But often I felt something was wrong with the IT office. I kept staring at computer screen, thinking what I was doing here. My purpose was not getting fulfilled there. I was made to do something else.

I kept searching. Soon an opportunity came. I came to know about Teach for India Fellowship. Immediately I went through the website and filled the application form. I gave several rounds of interviews. Each one got tougher. But I was enjoying a lot. When you do something you love, you stop feeling difficulty in everything. The final round was interview. With an anxious heart I waited for the interview results.

One day the phone rang, and I got in. It was the happiest day of my life. I was ready to compromise on adventures and take on a bigger mission of teaching unprivileged kids.

Life Had Other Plans

Little did I know that life had other plans. Dad called me. He was not well. He started a project and now he needed my help. I didn’t want to go home. I had no other option. You can leave your ill dad and go for your dreams. I shifted to my hometown with my luggage but without my smile. I was broken. For 26 years I waited for something, and now when I finally had it in my hands, it was gone within seconds.

The project I had to complete was a hotel. I was an IT person now with zero experience in construction. Yet I gave my heart out. I build the hotel. In the last one year on construction, I didn’t take even a single holiday. There was so much work that I swore, never in my life I will construct anything ever again. Once the setup and operations was done, I thought I am free; I can live my dreams now. But the task was not yet over. Dad was still not well. So I started with setting up the hotel. Without a degree of hotel management or MBA I made it the best rated hotel in town, automated it, and then told my dad, thank you for everything. You can run the hotel easily now. Even if you give just one hour daily, things are all set. All the reports will come to you.

My Journey With ILH

Then I joined ILH with a mission to make this world a beautiful place. I will teach happiness, strong mindset, family values, and how to generate wealth to youth and adults. I found so many flaws in current education system. I started creating courses on the real life skills that make people successful.

It wasn’t tough to give up on the title of Managing Director. I was happy to be a leader without a title. A force people can reckon with. I love inspiring people, I love helping them grow, and become unstoppable.

It was the best decision of my life. It took me 6 years to rebuild myself and now I am in a position to help millions. I have started my journey. Don’t be disappointed when things don’t go your way. Just keep your dreams alive, as your dreams will keep you alive.
